Meet the Team

Welcome to Operation Wonder!

Operation Wonder was founded by Mary + Lauren, a teacher and corporate event planner - so we know exactly what it takes to create a fun, engaging and one-of-a-kind event designed just for kids.
Lauren and Mary work with each client, family and business to learn about their vision, budget and event objectives. We pride ourselves on delivering an experience you and your kids will absolutely LOVE.

Our Mission

We are kid + event experts.

After seeing thousands of corporate clients strategize, laugh and high-five their way through our adult events at Escape Room Races, we knew that kids would have a blast if we designed a version just for them. STEM Game Races was born with the mission to create engaging, hands-on and sneakily academic experience for kids of all ages. From there, we created Wonder Hour, our STEM storytime that uses high quality children’s books and related hands-on STEM activities to push kids to think creatively, work together and grow.

Our goal is to help kids of all ages interact with each other, overcome challenges and grow, all while having a blast. All of our events are grounded in the 4Cs of STEM : Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Creativity

Testimonials

STEM Game Races Clients

Such a great experience!

“Such a great experience! Mary adapted the activities to perfectly fit the needs of my students. The kids loved it! It was very interactive and hands on, not to mention the rocket launch at the end! Definitely the fan favorite with my kids. I highly recommend STEM Game Races for any and all kids!”

- Angela R., Teacher

The kids really enjoyed it!

"I loved that there were several boxes so that multiple groups could go at the same time. I also loved that there was a "launch" so something that actually happened when they broke out!"

- Sarah D., Instructional Coach

They absolutely loved it!

They loved it and thought it was very challenging. They loved the small groups and that they could all be involved. Everything being in front of them was helpful. We would love to hear when you have a shortened version for STEMfamily nights and this would be a great addition!"

- Eden M., Teacher

Good for our brains

"It was hard but when you pushed yourself you realized you could do it!"
